Import permit for products of herbal origin subjected to phytosanitary control
For attaining Import permit for products of herbal origin subjected to phytosanitary control , permit seeker shall submit the following documents:
- Application (which should contain name of the commodity and exporting country, amount, itinerary, place of receiving the commodity, in case of importing stepwise - amount of every batch and time frame of import)
- Receipt of service fee
- 1 working day – 25 GEL
- 5 working day – 20 GEL
- 10 working day – 10 GEL
- 20 working day – free of charge

Import permits for products subjected to veterinary control can be attained based on the written as well as electronic application, at any Border Crossing Point and at the Customs Department.
Procedures for issuing the permit:
For receiving the permit please provide written or electronic (www.rs.ge) (https://eservices.rs.ge/App_new.aspx?p=427) application to the Customs Department , or to the Border Crossing Points where you wish to receive the permit.
For applying electronically please register on the official web-page of the Revenue Service www.rs.ge
choose window “applications”, “Customs, Customs Clearance Zone ” type of the permit you need (Import permit for products of herbal origin subjected to phytosanitary control) and fill in the appropriate boxes of application. Electronically attach documentations necessary for receiving the permit - copy of Receipt of service fee, and other documents (if exists). After filling the application , with the click on the button “Send” register your application.
You will be notified about the decision on the issuance of the permit through the official web-page www.rs.ge “my page” and through SMS which you will receive on the telephone number indicated in the application.
Import permit for products of herbal origin subjected to phytosanitary control is issued for the period of no more that 6 month. Payment of the service fee takes plays by transferring money to the account of Revenue Service. Payment of the fee is also possible electronically with the credit card.
