Principal Functions of Economic Division are: (12.03.2012 N3559)
a) Supervision and control of contract commitments related to government procurement;
b) Within the competence reviewing received correspondence;
c) Fulfilling other tasks and assignments by Department management.
3¹. Besides the functions specified in paragraph 3 of this Article Economic Division fulfills other functions through Assets and Inventory Management and Transport Management and Maintenance Subdivisions. (12.03.2012 N3559)
3². Principal Functions of Assets and Inventory Management Subdivision of Economic Division are: (12.03.2012 N3559)
a) Receipt, distribution and control of fixed assets and inventories within the Service;
b) Within the competence planning and implementation of inventory process of material assets on the Service’s balance;
c) Material logistics of the Service system and proper organization of warehousing;
d) Estimation of approximate quantity of annual demand for logistics and submission to an appropriate Division aiming at elaboration of annual government procurement plan;
e) Storing and transfer to Service structural units of material form certificates, permit certificates, tax invoices and other strict accounting forms;
f) Fulfilling other tasks and assignments by Department management.
3³. Principal Functions of Transport Management and Maintenance Subdivision of Economic Division are: (12.03.2012 N3559)
a) Providing vehicle service for the Service;
b) Providing vehicle service for the high level guests visiting Georgia;
c) Vehicle registration and technical maintenance;
d) Providing fuel for vehicles, accounting and control of fuel distribution;
e) Fulfilling other tasks and assignments by Department management.
