Taxpayer’s Registration
In order to be registered as a taxpayer, you can refer to any service center of the Georgia Revenue Service. Process of registration involves assigning of identification number and entering relevant registration information into unified database (unified tax registry).
Due to the changes in the Georgian “law on Entrepreneurs” as of December 25, 2009, instead of tax authotiry, entrepreneurs should undergo registration at the Ministry of Justice – The National Agency of the Public Registry, which is a legal entity under public law within the management sphere.
Attention:
National Agency of the Public Registry’s procedure of registration and assigning identification code is changed. Particularly: identification number of those registered at NAPR as legal entities will start from “4”, and for individual entrepreneurs – from “3”. The principle behind establishing identification number remained unchanged.
