It is possible to obtain permission for import at any border crossing point, also at the Department for Economic Border Protection on the base of written as well as electronic application form.

Permit Issuing Procedure

In order to obtain permit submit either written or electronic application form either at the Economic Border Protection Department or Border crossing Point where you wish to obtain permit. To apply electronically please go through a registration via our official web-page www.rs.ge. Select window ``Applications``, ``Customs``, ``Economic Zone of Clearance ``, type of permit and then fill in appropriate fields of application, upload all documents required to obtain permit. You may also indicate information about authorized person who will act on your behalf. After filling the application in, through the window ``send`` file your application.  You will be informed about GRS decision of issuance of permit through www.rs.ge on ``my page`` and SMS will be also sent to you.
